A Planning Tool for Reliability Assessment of Overhead Distribution Lines in Hybrid AC/DC Grids

چکیده

Integration of DC grids into AC networks will realize hybrid AC/DC grids, a new energetic paradigm which become widespread in the future due to increasing availability DC-based generators, loads and storage systems. Furthermore, huge connection intermittent renewable sources distribution could cause security congestion issues affecting line behaviour reliability performance. This paper aims propose planning tool for forecasting assessment overhead lines. The inputs consist single diagram real or synthetic grid set 24-h time series concerning climatic conditions resource operative profiles. developed approach avoid congestions criticalities, taking advantage optimal active power dispatching among “congestion-nearby resources”. A case study is analysed validate implemented control strategy considering modified IEEE 14-Bus System with introduction renewables. also implements prediction formulas calculate an function congested congestions-avoided conditions. quantitative evaluation underlines performance achievable after action.
